Investiga en el \u00e1rea de la nefropat\u00eda inducida por el factor ambiental bisfenol A (BFA) y la nefropat\u00eda diab\u00e9tica (ND). Actualmente se est\u00e1n realizando estudios traslacionales en poblaciones de alto y bajo nivel de exposici\u00f3n al BFA. Estudios preliminares muestran niveles de exposici\u00f3n al BFA m\u00e1s altos de lo esperado, as\u00ed como una correlaci\u00f3n significativa entre excreci\u00f3n urinaria de BFA y la podocituria; hallazgo que requiere del an\u00e1lisis de un n\u00famero significativo de muestras humanas de diferentes grupos poblacionales en aras de identificar el papel real de esta nueva nefropat\u00eda en la poblaci\u00f3n espa\u00f1ola.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cifra2-cm.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/fjdelucio.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"225\" height=\"225\" class=\"size-full wp-image-814 alignleft\" srcset=\"https:\/\/cifra2-cm.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/fjdelucio.png 225w, https:\/\/cifra2-cm.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/fjdelucio-150x150.png 150w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 225px) 100vw, 225px\" \/>Francisco Javier de Lucio<\/strong> es actualmente Catedr\u00e1tico de Fisiolog\u00eda en la Universidad de Alcal\u00e1. Su investigaci\u00f3n se ha dirigido al campo de la inflamaci\u00f3n en aspectos como sus relaciones con el envejecimiento, los efectos de los radicales libres de ox\u00edgeno, la producci\u00f3n de matriz extracelular y la fibrosis, el dolor y las enfermedades renales. En los \u00faltimos a\u00f1os se ha centrado en el fracaso renal agudo y el papel que juegan en el mismo mecanismos dependientes de prostaglandina E2 intracelular. Este grupo est\u00e1 integrado en el Instituto de Investigaci\u00f3n Sanitaria Ramon y Cajal, as\u00ed como en la Universidad de Alcal\u00e1. Adem\u00e1s, sus \u00faltimos proyectos est\u00e1n basados en la hip\u00f3tesis de que la enfermedad cardiovascular (ECV) aparece como un resultado del proceso fisiol\u00f3gico de un envejecimiento prematuro endotelial, desarroll\u00e1ndose senescencia celular que puede desencadenar la calcificaci\u00f3n vascular.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cifra2-cm.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/alique.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"144\" class=\"size-full wp-image-820 alignleft\" \/>Profesora Titular del Dpto Biolog\u00eda de Sistemas.<\/strong> La Dra. Alique realiz\u00f3 varias estancias postdoctorales tanto a nivel nacional como internacional, destacando su estancia en el laboratorio del Dr. Badimon en el Hospital Mount Sinai (NYC) para ampliar su experiencia en enfermedades cardiovasculares. En 2011 consigui\u00f3 un contrato postdoctoral Sara Borrell (ISCIII) para trabajar en la Unidad de Nefrolog\u00eda e Hipertensi\u00f3n (IIS-FJD) bajo a la supervisi\u00f3n de la Dra. Ruiz-Ortega. En 2015 se incorpor\u00f3 al grupo del Dr. Ram\u00edrez y su trabajo se bas\u00f3 en el papel de las microves\u00edculas en el da\u00f1o endotelial asociada con la enfermedad renal cr\u00f3nica. Desde el 2018 compagina su labor docente primero como Prof. Ayudante Doctor y recientemente como Profesora Titular, con su l\u00ednea de investigaci\u00f3n centrada en el estudio de las microves\u00edculas como mediador de calcificaci\u00f3n vascular. Su contribuci\u00f3n cient\u00edfica hasta la fecha se refleja en 57 publicaciones indexadas en Pubmed, que se han citado 1842 veces y un \u00edndice h de 27. En 2011 consigui\\u00f3 un contrato postdoctoral Sara Borrell (ISCIII) para trabajar en la Unidad de Nefrolog\\u00eda e Hipertensi\\u00f3n (IIS-FJD) bajo a la supervisi\\u00f3n de la Dra. Ruiz-Ortega. En 2015 se incorpor\\u00f3 al grupo del Dr. Ram\\u00edrez y su trabajo se bas\\u00f3 en el papel de las microves\\u00edculas en el da\\u00f1o endotelial asociada con la enfermedad renal cr\\u00f3nica. Desde el 2018 compagina su labor docente primero como Prof. Ayudante Doctor y recientemente como Profesora Titular, con su l\\u00ednea de investigaci\\u00f3n centrada en el estudio de las microves\\u00edculas como mediador de calcificaci\\u00f3n vascular. Su contribuci\\u00f3n cient\\u00edfica hasta la fecha se refleja en 57 publicaciones indexadas en Pubmed, que se han citado 1842 veces y un \\u00edndice h de 27.
